Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater turns 25 this month, and the skateboarding legend himself has revealed that he’s been in touch with publisher Activision about the franchise.

Tony Hawk revealed to Mythical Kitchen that “something” is in the pipeline to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series, but wasn’t about to let slip anything specific.

I wish I could tell you more, but I can tell you that I’ve been talking to Activision again, we’re working on something. It will be something the fans will truly appreciate.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 were both spruced up by Vicarious Visions for modern platforms back in 2020, and according to Hawk in 2022, the plan was to release another batch of remasters based on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, but plans folded once the studio was absorbed by Activision Blizzard.

Regarding the series’ 25th anniversary, Activision set tongues wagging just recently when it updated the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater social media channels.
