Nexon Games has rolled out a fresh update for The First Descendant for players to grab, which comes packing a range of balance adjustments, such as increasing the capacity for High-Power Rounds and improving attributes for the likes of Smithereens and Executor. The First Descendant was released for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on July 2, 2024. The game sees players assuming command of Descendants, which are powerful beings who possess mysterious powers and are the last hope for humanity, which has been invaded by an alien race known as the Vulgus.

Content Improvements
1. Addition of Infiltration Support Function
- Players can join Infiltration Operations with low Descendant numbers via the “Other Infiltration Support” setting.
- Restrictions include prior mission completion and the inability to use this function in Hard Difficulty with the 400% multiplier or in 4-player parties.
- Rewards for supported operations align with the operation’s difficulty and score.
2. Balance Adjustments
- Increased the capacity of High-Power Rounds from 5 to 15.
- Adjusted ammo capacities for ultimate weapons (e.g., After Glow, Piercing Light, and Smithereens).
- Buffed attributes for weapons like Smithereens and Executor, including improved recovery speed and Firearm ATK.
- Decreased “Explosion ATK Drop-off Range” for Restored Relic and increased its launcher explosion radius.
3. Content Refinements
- Altered enemy spawn points in White-night Gulch: Mystery’s End.
- Updated Void Vessel missions for better quest progression and improved rewards system.
- Blueprint Boxes for Keelan and Fellowes now drop alternately by tier.

- Resolved animation freezes and customization menu transitions.
- Fixed issues with Fellow level tracking for awards.
