The long-awaited Stellar Blade update that brings Nier: Automata DLC and Photo mode has finally been dated, and it’ll be out very soon. The big patch will be out on the PS5 on Wednesday, November 20, and will include other add-ons and miscellaneous improvements as well.

What’s new in Stellar Blade November 2024 update

Here’s a quick rundown of what’s coming in the Stellar Blade update this month:

  • Nier: Automata’s Emil will set up shop in Stellar Blade with 11 special collaboration items.
  • Photo mode
  • Four new costumes
  • ‘Symbol of Legacy’ accessory that changes the look of the Tachy mode.
  • Lip sync support for French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish.
  • The ability to pick specific songs at the camp turntable
  • Eve character customization options will now feature ‘No ponytail.’
  • In battle, auto-targeting and “ballistics correction features” have been added to enemy insta-kill skills.

Shift Up didn’t say whether the Nier DLC will be premium content or not, but the conpany did say previously that IP collaborations won’t be free. However, everything else in the update should be free, including the four new costumes.

Detailed patch notes and information about the Nier: Automata special collaboration items will be available in due course.
