IGN has published a nine-minute gameplay video for Sniper Elite Resistance, which reveals plenty of the series’ trademark features including the grisly x-ray killcam and the open-ended level design.

Sniper Elite Resistance takes place parallel to the events of Sniper Elite 5, and is a standalone story focussing on Special Operations Executive (SOE) agent Harry Hawker, as he investigates a Nazi super weapon that could win them the war. The game offers the same authentic sniping mechanics and stealth tactics the series is known for, but sets the action deep within occupied France.
One of the new features in Sniper Elite Resistance are Propaganda Missions, which is a new type of side mission available to players. Each campaign mission features a unique Propaganda poster to locate, which sees you becoming a Resistance Fighter tackling time-sensitive objectives as you take down enemies under specific conditions.
Sniper Elite Resistance is due out in 2025 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
