PS5 Pro Comes With A Built-In 2TB SSD

The PS5 Pro is real because Sony finally said it is, and more than just saying its real, Sony also told us a bit about the console.

PS5 architect Mark Cerny took center stage in a 9-minute technical presentation where he spoke about what makes the PS5 Pro different from the PS5, and what the Pro has been built to improve on.

One key aspect of the Pro that fans had definitely been curious about in the months leading up to the reveal, is how much storage space would be built-into the console itself.

In keeping with the Pro’s high-end approach, there’s way more space on the PS5 Pro than the base-PS5, especially if you have the launch model PS5.

Rather than the launch model’s 825GB, or the Slim’s 1TB, the PS5 Pro will sport a 2TB SSD, and you’ll still be able to expand the storage beyond that.

Even without the expandable storage, you’ll likely never have an issue when it comes to having all the games you want to play ready and on your console. No more deleting and re-downloading.
