The Game Awards 2024 is in full swing with numerous games appearing. One of them is The Outer Worlds 2 which got a fantastically funny trailer that promises more guns, more graphics and more…well, just more in general.. The game looks terrific, but something very important appeared at the end of the video: it’s no longer an Xbox exclusive.
The game was previously only going to be on Xbox and PC due to developer Obsidian being owned by Microsoft. It was announced as a day 1 Game Pass title, too. But the final moments of the trailer reveals the PS5 logo alongside Xbox and PC, indicating that it will be coming to Sony’s machine too.
It’s possible the PlayStation version will launch after the Xbox and PC editions come out, but the way they’ve done this “announcement” makes me think it will hit all platforms at the same time.
