Troy Baker is reportedly set to feature in Naughty Dog‘s new game, according to a new interview with Neil Druckmann.
There’s no details available yet as to what role Baker will play or the name of the game itself, but a GQ profile has revealed that he’ll one again be reuniting with Naughty Dog. Duckmann also had the following to say about Baker during the interview:
“In a heartbeat I would always work with Troy,” before describing him as a “demanding actor.” “Troy’s trying to stretch the limits of what this thing is, and often he succeeds at making it better than it was in my imagination.”

Not much is known about Naughty Dog’s new project, although it has been claimed that it will focus on ‘player freedom.’ This would make for quite a bit of a departure from the studio’s previous efforts, as it is traditionally known for making linear games; however, the like of Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us Part II have offered greater freedom.
Elsewhere, Druckmann said that the reason we haven’t heard anything about the new game yet is down to Sony, not Naughty Dog, and said he’s been working on the project for the past four years. Whatever the game ends up being, we’ve also heard reports that The Last of Us Part III is in development at Naughty Dog, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
