Spotted by Gematsu, it looks like a remaster of the first Goat Simulator game simply called Goat Simulator Remastered is coming to PS5 and other current-gen platforms – at least that’s what a rating for Goat Simulator Remastered from Taiwan indicates.
The original Goat Simulator game first arrived on PC and mobile platforms in 2014, and then in 2015 it arrived on consoles, which means it’s been a full decade since its original release and nearly a decade since its arrival on PS4.
Based on that gap it seems like it is about time to remaster it for PS5, if that was something you’d want to do. It did however get a sequel in Goat Simulator 3, which isn’t even two years old at time of writing (not until November 2024 at least).
The remaster then will be a reason for players to check out the origins of the comedy game series, though for now it’s unclear as to when it’ll arrive.
