The next upcoming collaboration in the Dead By Daylight growing universe will come from the original treasure hunter Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider franchise, arriving next month on July 16, 2024.
Specifically it looks like Behavior Interactive is choosing to draw from the most recent iteration of Lara’s adventures, the trilogy from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix.
The collaboration was revealed with a short video posted on Twitter from the official Dead By Daylight account we get a sneak peak at Lara Croft in the DBD world.
Behavior Interactive’s post also included links to patch notes for an upcoming patch though one update in particular caught the eye and ire of many a player.
So much so that Behavior has already responded to the backlash, and this part of the update will no longer be going live.
The update that was proposed was a feature that replaced live players who dropped out of a match with bots. Something which players made clear they absolutely did not want, with many saying they’d rather just quit and re-queue into another game with actual human players instead.
