Building my Drawing in Minecraft! – PREMIUM MINECRAFT BLOG

Published:

Quick update to share a 500-subscriber special Planet Minecraft build! This one was very unique yet fun.

‘The generator must keep the city afloat. The dense urban dwellings cling to the remains of a cliff face.’

I scanned, colored and heavily edited a favorite old drawing. Next, I made an exact replica in the game!

Thank you for 500 subscribers! (This was fittingly an unfinished submission to the 500 years BR contest.)

This was a very unusual but fun build. I hope you enjoy, it is now released public. BUILD TIME: ~10 hours.

More personal than usual. The work-in-progress title for this build was “The Last Portal”, because the city is powered by its central core which contains nether portals and a particle-accelerator-like structure inside. There is a “full” interior (half the build is actually just blacked out overlapping, awkward forms). It reminds me of some of my earliest projects, which were typically very imaginative cyberpunk.
