Bloober Team Hasn’t Shut The Door On Making More Silent Hill Games “If We Like The Opportunity, We’ll Take It”

Published:

Days after Bloober Team released the highly anticipated Silent Hill 2 Remake to rave reviews from critics and players, the very next thing the team announced as its next project was Cronos: The New Dawn.

A totally brand-new sci-fi survival horror game, with its own dark and mysterious setting, all of it likely aimed at terrifying players in a new way. But if you were wanting to hear about what other Silent Hill-related projects they might have coming up, the studio is definitely open to it – even if it doesn’t sound like there’s anything happening right now.

“I think we are always open,” said Wojciech Piejko in an interview with IGN when asked about the studio doing more with Silent Hill.”If we like the opportunity, we’ll take it.”

“There are opportunities that you have to seize, like Silent Hill 2, you can remake the legend. So yeah, I do believe that everything’s possible,” he added.

Bloober Team has already been vocal about how the Silent Hill 2 Remake having launched does not mean the end of the developers relationship with Konami.

Which is ultimately the most important factor here, if you’re someone who’d like to see more Silent Hill games from Bloober Team. What happens with Silent Hill’s future is up to no one but Konami.

Bloober Team has definitely come a long way to impress with the Silent Hill 2 Remake. After some arguably poorer releases in its games leading up to the Silent Hill 2 Remake, the studio has once again solidified itself as one to look out for (in a good way).

How much Konami agrees with that sentiment regarding entrusting more Silent Hill to Bloober Team, is yet to be seen.
