Remedy has released the Alan Wake 2 Photo Mode today, giving players the chance to really scrutinise the game’s beautiful visuals by taking some custom snapshots for your personal collection. These days, what major game doesn’t have a Photo Mode anyway, right?

Alan Wake 2 was released in October 2023 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, around 13 years after the release of the original game. Remedy had initially hoped to develop Alan Wake 2 years ago and had begun prototyping it, but eventually moved forward with fresh IP in the form of Quantum Break and Control. Still, better late than never, eh?

Remedy released the first of two major post-launch expansion for the game earlier this month in the form of Night Springs, with the second DLC, The Lake House, due later this year. If that wasn’t enough, Alan Wake 2 is getting a physical release in Fall 2024, including a Collector’s Edition.
