Hidetaka Miyazaki Says Elden Ring 2 Is Not Currently Being Considered At FromSoftware

Published:

The president of FromSoftware has revealed that the developer is not currently considering Elden Ring 2 despite the success of the original game.

Speaking with media following the PlayStation Partner Awards 2024 Japan Asia this week, Hidetaka Miyazaki, as previously reported, confirmed that while FromSoftware has numerous projects in the works, Elden Ring 2 is not one of them.

“We’re not really considering developments such as an Elden Ring 2,” said Miyazaki-san, but did point out that the studio is opening to exploring the Elden Ring series “in some form in the future.” Some of the titles currently in production at FromSoftware are being directed by Miyazaki, too.
