Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the most recent title in Ubisoft’s long-running franchise and will continue to be for another few months since Assassin’s Creed Shadows was delayed.
As such, Mirage is the game that’s gotten the PS5 Pro Enhanced treatment from Ubisoft, and while it was confirmed to be “PS5 Pro Enhanced” a few days ago, Ubisoft has officially detailed what those enhancements will look like.
In a new blog post, Ubisoft went over the major features players can expect, like 4K/60 FPS gameplay thanks to PSSR.
-
4K 60 FPS with PSSR as an upsampling algorithm, for more faithful 4K details at 60 FPS.
-
‘Quality Mode’ is now the default setting at 60 FPS (vs 30 FPS for the classic PS5 version).
-
Generally improved graphics, with better shadows and reflection fidelity, higher texture resolution, and generally improved draw distance (quality, details).
If it hadn’t been delayed, then next week Assassin’s Creed Shadows would’ve been another Ubisoft game bearing the “PS5 Pro Enhanced” moniker.
It’ll be interesting to see then when it does launch, what features will be there.
