Sony has announced that 13 new games will be added to PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Plus Premium next week on July 16.
There’s some great games in this selection, but I wanted to shout out two of them specifically. First, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a beautiful isometric RPG that’s well worth playing. I tried it out on PC and had a great time adventuring. I had some concerns about a console port, but according to the excellent folk at Push Square the game plays great on a controller.
The second shout-out goes to Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters . Between the recent releases of Sly Cooper and Daxtar, I’ve been going on a retro platforming binge and loving it. Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters is a game I missed, along with Daxtar, due to never owning a PSP, so I’m looking forward to picking this one up. I’m honestly not sure why Sony would opt to emulate a PSP title ahead of the main PS2 games, but hopefully it’s a sign that the main PlayStation 2 games will also make the jump.
